HI, Wile we travel from Rajarajeshwarinagar Arch and Nayandahalli, there is only one spot where you can take a U turn. Most of the traffic jams occur there. I suggest, the spot be re-modelled as below, so that all kinds of jams can be avoided... this is howwe can change the scene, so that there will be no more traffic jams Anandh 9480550325
Reaching town hall from Mysore road is an ardurous task. The Road right in front of the RR Nagar arch gets chocked as early as 8.40 in the morning. The slow moving traffic literally stops as it reaches the Mysore feeds. The Road taking to the left and leading to the level crossing and chandra layout is blocked even at the entrance by the BMTC buses, which stop half way in the road. No matter what the vehicles behind do, they seldom move. As if this was not sufficient the autos block the road entrance. There is no indication when the level crossing gate will close for traffic and the vehicles are helplessly blocked in the small road, leading to the gate. Even as my car passes this test on the road, the buses right from the signal upto this cross have haphazardly blocked the road.
The Vehicles get piled up from the BSK side on the right side and the vehicles from Deepanjalinagar by the front. The lone police chap wears his sandals and limps hither thither to avoid the signal jump but to no avail. NOT TO MENTION THE SPEED MONEY THE LORRY FELLOWS GIVE the police, to allow them go straight into the city.
What is more worrying now, is its believed the BDA is blindly connecting the nagarbhavi ring road to the mysore road at this junction. All hell will break loose when traffic from the four directions pileup there, and add to it the rule that the Signal must not change for a minimum of 1 minute. I request the authorities to think really well and plan a flyover on the Hebbal-flyover modle, so that the traffic not chocked. Let them not think for the next 5 years, but for the next 50 years.
